Listen softly how the experience of a natural soft touch during the yoga session will improve your exercises. Feel feather light and remember that cork is known to create the perfect balance of cushion and traction. Let me be a home for everyone who wants to live in harmony with nature, experiencing life as a whole. My Cork Oasis’ mission is to create a moment of awareness and stillness in which you can ground and connect with yourself from a place of love. CARING ABOUT ME
You care about me, I care about you. With Cork Oasis we want to help you reconnect with nature and your authentic, playful self. Cork is eco-friendly, cruelty free and 100% vegan. It’s also biodegradable and recyclable. We feel so happy that by producing cork we are not harming nature as there’s no need to chop down the cork oak. Instead the bark of the trunk is gently removed. After harvesting at an age of twenty five, the oak tree is given the chance to start its regenerative process all over again. It will breathe in three to five times more carbon out of the air (!) which is a massive contribution to a positive climate change. Knowing that the cork oak restores itself each ten years and can become two hundred years old, the process can be repeated around seventeen times. That’s why the cork oaks are considered to be the “lungs of Europe”.

BEFORE YOU STEP ON ME
That’s one small step for you, one giant leap for Cork Oasis. I’m locally and ethically responsible produced in Portugal and creatively designed in Belgium. You can wipe my surface with soft cloth & water to remove extra inks smudging on the surface. Our brilliant inks are safe, non-toxic and water based. I will remain natural, elegant and simplistic. Don’t use any aggressive products.
FOR BEST GRIP
My natural anti-slip: the wetter the better. Superior grip is especially important under wet conditions. The cork surface is surprisingly smooth to the touch and gives you a feeling of touching the earth.
